Our commitment
We work to make this site meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, the standard used as the reference for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Accessibility is ongoing work: we review the site when we add content and fix what we find.
What we have done
- Colors with enough contrast between text and background.
- Full keyboard navigation and a link to skip straight to the content.
- Alternative text and clear names for screen readers.
- Carousels that can be paused and that respect the reduced-motion setting.
- Pages that adapt to phones and allow zooming.
- An accessibility button (bottom left) to enlarge text, increase contrast, underline links, add line spacing and stop animations.
Known limitations
- Some PDF documents in the resource library are not yet ready for screen readers. We are working on accessible versions; in the meantime, if you need one, we will send it to you in another format.
- We are completing the descriptions of some photos in the event galleries.
- Some content comes from other services (the Google form, Instagram posts and YouTube videos), and its accessibility depends on them.
